The USA Texas-based band Burn in Blood releases their debut EP “Can’t Save us All”, a record that sounds very extreme and contemporary at the same time. Listening to the EP, I notice influences of Thrash Metal, Nu Metal, Groove Metal and Death Metal – the music style that prevails during the five songs delivered on “Can’t Save Us”. Born In Blood nailed it by releasing a seventeen minute long EP containing five songs that have between three to four minutes running time, which leaves the audience’s with a taste for some more from the band, while ‘Inferno’ might send people nuts.

According to the band’s singer, Talmage Rrumholt, “‘Inferno’ was the first single taken from “Can’t Save Us All”, because that song synthesises the sonority and lyrics, and he is correct. ‘Inferno’ has a short and powerful chorus to single bang your head and scream along (“Welcome to my infernooo / infernooo” in a guttural singing style, similar to what Slipknot delivered on their first album”).

The songs have lots of intensity and rage coming from the instruments and the production of “Can’t Save Us All”, with a big help from the producer’s hands, who knew how to make the songs to dilute the band’s brutal approach, helping the band to build their own musical identity.  Listen to “You Can’t Us All” on repeat that you may be surprised by Born in Blood sonority.
